At Sunshine Children’s, it is my goal to make each session unique to the client’s strengths and motivations. So, the general flow of session is going to depend on a few factors like the child’s age, interests and goal of session.

For an intake session, I meet with the parents only first as we will be going over office policies, confidentiality policies and doing a lot of information-gathering. This is the session where I will be asking questions about your child, family and identifying together when I can offer the best support.

The individual session are typically with the child alone and together we will pick a game, art or activity that they are interested in while we go over our agenda for the that session, processing how that week is for them, and learning or practicing skills to help with any stressors. The fun part of the therapy is taking an activity , like Candyland, Go fish or painting and adapting it to fit our goals so that the kiddos have a joyful therapeutic experience and find genuine connections between what they learn and the applications in their lives outside of the office.

Individual Session, 50 minutes- $140

Parent Coaching Session, 50 Minutes- $140

Preschool Session (ages 4-6), 25 minutes- $100

An Intake Session, 90 minutes, $180

A Family Session, 90 Minutes- $180

I am not in network with insurance providers, how ever I do provide you with invoices after every session and superbills at the end of the month. You can then submit these your insurance company for reimbursement.

Before booking an appointment, I suggest calling the number on the back of your insurance card, inquiring about your “out of network” therapy benefits and learning about how to submit an out-of-network reimbursement claim

My practice is located at 7024 Central Ave, Unit 106, St. Petersburg, FL 33710. This is in the beautiful St. Pete- Pasadena area and is close to the beaches, downtown St. Pete and shopping. So there is plenty of options for fun after weekend therapy sessions!

When you get to the office, you may park anywhere it says Florida Insurance and use either the back staircase outside or the front door if it is before 6pm.
