What the Process Looks Like

Consultation

To start, fill out a consultation request form to get in contact. Then I will reach out within 24 hours to schedule and conduct a consultation call with you.

Here you and I will discuss how I could best support your child and family and see if we are a good fit. You can also ask any questions about myself or the therapy process.

If we are a good fit, we will schedule the intake session which will be for the parents to meet with me to go over the paperwork, practice policies and learn more in depth about your child, family and collaborate on a treatment plan that will work best for them.

Sessions

After this intake session, the child will be able to come in for their individual sessions and start their therapy journey! We can individually tailor sessions to meet the child and family needs. This can looks like a blend of individual sessions, parent coaching sessions and then family sessions to bring all the strengths together and work towards strengthening your relationships.

To guide my clients and families in becoming their best selves, we break the therapy journey into three parts: Learn, Practice and Maintain.

I teach coping and communication skills that clients can use to have healthier thought process and behaviors. Then I assign the client and family homework to help build the confidence in these skills for at home and school. Finally, they will work on maintaining these skills. We can tailor the frequency of session to best fit your schedule and broaden the frequency of session from weekly to biweekly and monthly.
